On June 28th, 2014 Fayette county will be echoing with the thunder of our annual Prayer Ride as riders from all over the state gather at Miami Trace High School located at 3722 State Route 41 NW in Washington Court House.
The prayer ride isn’t just a ride it is a day long event! Riders are encouraged to arrive at noon for registration so that you will be ready to roll at 1PM. All riders and co-riders will receive a Prayer Ride t-shirt while supplies last! We will have several local pastor on site and will have a prayer with all riders before they leave out. Kickstands are aup at 1pm and riders will leave out from the high school parking lot where they will ride to each township hall in Fayette county. When the riders arrive at the township hall one leader from the Prayer Riders Motorcycle Ministry will lead the group in a prayer where we will pray for the township residents, those traveling the roadways, our elected officials of the county, state and our country as well.
Once riders have completed the ride they will meet back at Miami Trace High School where they will join others from our community who do not ride where we will have hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and other sides along with drinks which will be given FREE to all in attendance. These have been donated by local businesses in our community so be sure to thank them all for their support!
At 4PM all riders are encouraged to gather in the auditorium for a special treat as we have a guest speaker who will be traveling in just for our event this year! But that isn’t all we have prepared for your riders this year… After our guest speaker has finished we have arranged for some live music provided by our local churches praise teams to round out our evening of the 2014 Prayer Ride!
Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us whether you ride or not for Prayer Ride 2014! Come out and join in the fun and festivities that make this a true community event.
